Phil,
I haven't been around for quite some time, so it is good to see that some of the original forum members are still kicking on (!!!) and even better to know that some are still sitting behind the old beast and even better still, churning out great stuff.
Nothing like the old 60s and 70s music --- brings back many memories from when I used to have my own group and we played pubs and dance halls every Saturday night --- what ever happened to dance halls and "LIVE" music in pubs !!!!!
ME --having sold the studio quite a few years ago and the buyer was a young gun "it has to be ITB and Protools" buyer, for it to sound any good and as a result I was able to keep the desk, so not doing much these days (ears not as good as they once were !!!) and the desk has been wrapped in plastic for quite a few years. Every couple of years I change the CMOS battery in case it goes flat and leaks, but I have not bothered to re-do the CMOS settings until I am again going to use the desk or more likely sell it and until I retired a couple of years ago I was doing FOH sound in a live theatre and using the EXCELLENT BUT DUMPED Mackie TT24 console --- actually although I have no use for it, I am currently negotiating to buy one (and associated snake) from the USA, but freighting to Australia is roughly three times the total purchase price and if I do buy, it will just be added to my "gear slut" pile of equipment and probably never used.
I think that they say that one looses all sense of reality as one grows old and even more so as one grows very old !!!!!!!!!
By the way, loved the two songs.
