That's so true Peter. The changes between OS2 and 3 were as dramatic at the time as those from 3 to 5/5.1

Is this something that changed after os 2? Mine doesn't show any midi activity whatsoever with the solo buttons.
Sorry. I completely missed that you had mentioned this in earlier posts. Yes, you are desperately in need of a Mackie OS-ectomy™.

I believe v3 is free but still, by v5.0.1 standards, quite buggy. I'd highly recommend purchasing v5, but if money's an issue, v3 should at least clear up the MIDI mapping issues.
