I have not seen it, but the person I was speaking to was a relatively high level Mackie/Loud employee/manager and the person was fairly specific on the details and that it was going to be displayed (fully operational) at NAMM next year. I was not given a release date.

As I think I stated earlier, one of the main comments was that the organisation had learnt a lot from the mistakes they had made with the release of the DXB and the TT24 --- (ie going outside and simply licensing a new product and then not having the control that was needed to introduce new OS and firmware systems).

At least one of the past products is still apparently going through the legal system to try to sort things out --- the comment made to me "this situation will never happen again" and "in the future new products will be in the hands of technical people and NOT accountants".

The product is being looked at as" the start of Mackie getting back to its original roots with great inovative products that are well respected through out the industry"

Let's hope and I for one will look forward to Mike Rivers hopefully exciting report from NAMM in 2012 (see Mike, you have not been forgotten!!!).

While true of the DXB...not so for the TT24. That one was entirely in-house.
