I did a full search for the version 3.0 zip file (d8b3x224_PC.exe) in my current PC system but unfortunately I had no luck. Are you unpacking the file from Mackie's site on a PC or on a Mac?
I do have another 2 hard disks in an old broken computer, but I would need some time to be able to check those out by installing the drives in my current system. If I get some time tomorrow I will look for the file in those drives.
Have you tried to ask in the other forum and see if anyone might have the files?
It's really is very weird what happens to your console.
Anyway if I where you I would go for version 5. It's worth it.
