IF the HD is 32 gig or less, Id be inclined to re-install the OS with a Format:On and then try to install the Service Pack again.

That sounds like RAM. Have you replaced it with PC100 or PC 133 backwards compatible? You could try re-seating the RAM. Be aware that it is a tight fit. Make sure it locks solidly. Gee, I'm sorry you're having these issues.

Anyhorizon thanks for the ZZZZZZZZZZZ.... I guess you've been here before!

Checked the ram works ok. Put SP3 in again and randomly it installed! WOW! Anybody out there thinking that a disc image of the HD needs to be on-line so we no longer so we no longer have to go thru the Floppy Disc stuff!

-Any forum members have any ideas on how this can be done.

Last I read, you couldn't even get the OS to load. Beats me. You must have done something. Re-seat the RAM?

Definitely the RAM re-seating did the thing.

To skip the Floppy Disc routine install the OS in a Comptac Flash card and replace the HDD with the card.
