Does the floppy drive fire up when you put the first OS disk in and does the fluoro display ask if you want to install the OS?

...Operator error....I had changed the power supply connection to the mainboard and put in the wrong slot (of two power connections side by side). Corrected this and do have "seek" on the floppy drive. Also, as mentioned...I do have cpu fan spin. No video at all though.

Now to answer the question...I'd put 133 ram in there...will come up with some PC100 today just to be sure...boy am I glad you're checking back on me....should have that by noon eastern time and will let you know!

You better try with the PC100 ram sticks. The PC133 have been reported to be problematic.

Tried a couple different PC100 sticks...128 megs each..no luck. These are good as they work in another very old computer...tried them in individual slots...

Keep the new RAM in there and look for a video card replacement. If you have an old AGP you can at least try to get to the BIOS. It won't load the OS but at least you can see the BIOS and proceed from there.

I've had this same dumb no video situation and I know it's very frustrating. Just hang in there !
