Would that be the way without using the mts1000? If I had the Mts would I not need them extra box's ?

I have just put it up for sale thinking of getting a Midas but thinking about it it's still like new never used live and very low hours use and although mainly a live desk ( hence the L in GL) it does work well as a recording desk and the eq is a good usable eq for tracking mastering. Pre amps not bad not a clear as the d8b but again good enough for analogue. I don't go through it for recording to tape prefer to use external pre amps like the Amek neve 9098 works very well with tape for a lot of things, on saying that when I do bass my fave is the pre in the boss dr880 drum machine on " power bass" I use that all the time,,sorry I'm gushing now.
