Thanks for the enquiries guys. I've decided to pull this. I might as well keep it as a working unit.

Cheers,

Peter

I'll stick around a while and help out if I can. I'm just not doing that much music anymore and I don't like to see such a good example of the d8b go to waste.

Cheers, mate.

Peter

Peter,
This is a little mind-numbing. I agree that in principle it's really hard to stick with music when there are so many factors that make it really difficult. When you're 20 none of that stuff matters. I haven't done any recording in quite a while, but I went with a live band and stay busy doing that. Every so often I play notes that interest me, and slightly less often, someone's there to see it!! But it can be brutal.

I've hung on to my d8b because I had hope that the bridge would be completed for PT, but I think that project stalled out. The other reason is that I've got the Argosy console, and it would look pretty stupid w/o a d8b in it...

I support you in all your endeavors and wish you well in your daily activities. I don't get to this forum often, and it's been at least ten years since I posted anything technically helpful to anyone.

Always remember that your ear, judgement and wisdom is a cut above and has been helpful to thousands, or at least many hundreds.

OK, it felt a lot like a Twilight Zone episode. I was having quite a time wrapping my head around this. Thank goodness I can put that exercise off for the foreseeable future. I predict I'll end up like Burgess Meredith except with six broken strings.

Peter,

I just posted the midiman 1X1 not working.

What do you think about my post, any suggestions before I purchase anything?

My midi monitor works great with my keyboards and electronic drums but it does not read any data from the D8b.

I have not hooked up to Reaper yet, I would like to see midi on my monitor first.

Thanks!
