No Audio Signal

Hi,
I bought a Mackie mixer d8b and the mixer works fine but I don't get in audio signal in or out.
I reformated the PC and still no signal but the data cable between the cpu and the mixer the 25pin is a regular cable, its not the original cable for the Mackie mixer d8b.
Also sometimes I get the sounds but very low, and sometimes its works fine but sometimes not. Is it the cable?? What is the solution to this problem??

Welcome to the forum ninos.

I would bet it's the cable. You should look for an original data cable.

Did you buy the board second hand? Maybe you can contact the original owner and ask him for the cable.
