Nice set up man you've got outboard coming out of your ears hahaha! :D

thanks for all the responses as well I'm going to start my hunt for an antilog card for my ALT I/O!

Yea, I probably have more than my fair share....

Just to clarify my routing when I was on the d8b, I would use the aux sends to hit any F/X boxes ad returned those on the channels 1-24. My compressors would be fed via the bus outs and returned on the Alt I/O slot with an analog card. The only down side is there is no DSP on those returns. It typically was never an issue for me but just something to keep in mind. This sort of routing is a little odd but with no cool way to channel insert, that was my work around. The dXb allows for inserts of outboard gear which is the typical way to do this sort of thing as you would imagine.

Good luck with your rig. The d8b is a mighty console even all these yearts later. I reluctantly retired mine after many trouble free (for the most part) years. I still have it, just packed away...just in case.
