It seems I fried more than just the DSP card, back when I decided to conntect the +/-16v psu the wrong way...
I replaced the DSP card, and the d8b managed to come to life - faders working with the gui.
However, no sound... and I got an error when I tried loading a plugin.
I also had a spare DAC card - now I can upload plugins... but still no sound (no response on the meters either when I connect a mic etc).
Sooo... anybody got a codec card for sale??
