It's about an hours drive from me, unfortunately, I'm still working and it's not possible with time etc.

I did actually get it in the end but bought it on spec, there are no desks for sale in my area so, because one of my desks was not working it was the case of having to drive there but no time to do a full check :?

I just powered the mixer up, no real testing and without the HDR connected, a bit of a risk but it worked when I got it home,... you did say "There's a D8b with HDR2496 up for sale on ebay, would you be willing to check it out? whether it's of interest to you or me?"

Rhys, the guy that sold it has another D8b, CPU and HDR, which is of the same spec, I have also powered that up but again not connected the HDR, I believe it to be in good working order, both are obviosly old and well used, there are some cosmetic marks on the desk, there's a dirty eq switch which I'm sure can be fixed with a few drops of circuit cleaner, I could ask if it's for sale if you want Lou?
