ERROR: DSP CONTROL CARD NOT READY

Dear All,

Has anyone encountered this error exactly when the software is loaded?

ERROR: DSP CONTROL CARD NOT READY

I have pulled out all removable cards ADAT's, UFX, MFX but no success. I have also re installed V5.1 but all for nothing.

Any help?

BIOS Settings were not good.....battery change...prob solved.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the data and BFC connectors, obviously with power off!

The culprit was the bios Phil.C. All is ok now

I'm have the DSP error. Can't find any thing wrong with my Bios settings. What was wrong with your settings that fixed the issue?

It happens to me sometimes. It usually helps to wiggle the BFC connector around a bit.

Yes i have encountered it each and every time i boot up the d8b and the CF display does not light up immediately. It either boots up and wants authorization codes or i get that error. Next time you boot up, take note on if ant when the CF display comes alive.

If the CF-Display doe not come alive before the OS boots, you will get authorization errors, or hangs or the DSP error.
